If you are a faculty member and have a project aimed at advancing UBC’s academic mission, you are invited to apply for the Aspire-2040 Learning Transformations (ALT-2040) Fund. The ALT-2040 Fund builds on the successes of the predecessor ALT Fund to accelerate curricular transformations envisioned in Outlook 2040.
The ALT-2040 Fund includes two categories, below:
- Category 1: Program enhancement. Up to $25,000 may be requested to implement strategic innovations within and across existing academic programs. A project may be up to two years in length. There is a single stage application process. Proposals are due February 3, 2020.
- Category 2: Program development and transformation. Up to $100,000 may be requested to develop a new credit-based program or to undertake a significant redesign of an existing academic program. There is a 2-stage application process. A Letter of Intent (LOI) is due November 18, 2019; if invited to apply, the proposal is due February 3, 2020.
