Announcing the 2024/25 Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund projects

The 2024/25 Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) funding round is complete. A total of $2.2-million in TLEF funding will support 62 new and returning TLEF projects (16 Large TLEF Transformation projects and 46 Small TLEF Innovation projects proposed by faculty, staff, and students across the UBC Vancouver campus.

An additional $150,000 was awarded to support 15 project teams as part of the Special Call for the Universal Design for Learning Fellows Program. These projects were nominated by UBC Vancouver Faculties to participate in the 2024 Universal Design for Learning Fellows Program cohort.

The TLEF supports UBC’s strategic plan Shaping UBC’s Next Century, by advancing transformative learning at the university. It is funded entirely through a portion of UBC Vancouver student tuition. Since its inception in 1991, the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) has supported more than 1,400 teaching and learning projects.
