New Program: Master of Education in Indigenous Education

The UBC Faculty of Education has recently announced their newest degree program, Master of Education (MEd) in Indigenous Education, slated to begin delivering courses from July 2022. The 30.0 credit program aims to provide educators, educational administrators and leaders, members of Indigenous communities and other professionals in education setting with a deeper understanding of Indigenous knowledge systems for the K-12 curriculum. This program is set to address important goals and actions set out in Shaping UBC’s Next Century, the 2020 UBC Indigenous Strategic Plan  and the Faculty of Education’s Strategic Plan 2019-2024: Learning Transformed.
